Why it matters
The Aprilaire 4793 Humidifier Pad is a replacement water panel for a whole-house furnace humidifier.
A maintenance kit bundles the water panel with the small parts that wear alongside it, typically the distribution tray or feed tube and the orifice, so one annual order covers the service.
Hard water leaves scale that stops a pad wicking; replace it when it stiffens or crusts, and at least once a season.
The listing gives dimensions of 1.75 x 9.5 x 9.75 inches.
