Why it matters
The Levoit Dual 200S Smart Top-Fill Ultrasonic Humidifier is an ultrasonic humidifier with a 3 liters tank.
Run time per fill, per the maker: up to 25 hours.
Aim for 40 to 60 percent relative humidity indoors: drier air irritates airways and skin, wetter air feeds dust mites and mold. Use distilled or demineralized water to avoid the white mineral dust ultrasonic mist leaves behind.
The listing names a top-fill tank and app control.
Top-fill tanks are filled from above without carrying the tank to a sink, which also makes them easier to wipe out.
A full tank holds about 3.0 liters, which adds roughly 7 pounds of water to carry or lift (filled in place from the top).
Spread over 25 hours, that tank works out to about 120 milliliters an hour, the rate on the setting the run time was measured at; higher settings empty it faster.
Its stated run time of 25 hours is below the middle of the range we cover: 19 of the 69 humidifiers with a stated figure come in lower, and the range runs from 10 hours to 130 hours.
Price-wise it sat in the middle third of the 74 ultrasonic models we cover when we checked; the button shows today's price.
Compared with the Levoit Classic 160 2.5L Top Fill Ultrasonic Humidifiers: quietest setting 28 dB here vs 26 dB; tank 3 liters here vs 2.5 L.
Warranty, per the maker: 2 years.
