Why it matters
The Honeywell HE360D Whole House Powered Fan-Powered Humidifier (HE360D1075/U) is a fan-powered humidifier that mounts on the furnace or its ductwork, rated for homes up to 4500 sq ft.
A fan-powered humidifier has its own fan, so it adds more moisture than a bypass unit and needs no bypass duct; it mounts on the supply plenum.
Whole-house humidifiers need a water supply line, a drain for bypass and fan-powered models, and a humidistat; the replacement water panel or canister is a yearly cost.
It qualifies for our list Best Whole-House Humidifiers, where it is ranked against every model that meets the same rule.
Compared with the Honeywell HE280D Whole House Bypass Humidifier (HE280D2001/U): rated room size 4500 sq ft here vs 4000 sq ft.
Warranty, per the maker: 1-Year Limited Warranty.
