Why it matters
The Honeywell HM750A1000/U Advanced Electrode Steam Humidifier is a steam humidifier that mounts on the furnace or its ductwork.
A steam humidifier boils water in a canister and injects the steam into the ductwork, so it works even when the air from a heat pump is only lukewarm.
Whole-house humidifiers need a water supply line, a drain for bypass and fan-powered models, and a humidistat; the replacement water panel or canister is a yearly cost.
It qualifies for our list Best Whole-House Humidifiers, where it is ranked against every model that meets the same rule.
Compared with the Honeywell HE240D Whole House Bypass Flow-Through Humidifier (HE240D2001/U): warranty 5-Year Limited Warranty here vs 1-Year-Limited Warranty.
Warranty, per the maker: 5-Year Limited Warranty.
