Why it matters
The Levoit Classic 300S Ultrasonic Smart Humidifier is an ultrasonic humidifier.
Run time per fill, per the maker: up to 60 hours.
Aim for 40 to 60 percent relative humidity indoors: drier air irritates airways and skin, wetter air feeds dust mites and mold. Use distilled or demineralized water to avoid the white mineral dust ultrasonic mist leaves behind.
The listing names a top-fill tank and app control.
Top-fill tanks are filled from above without carrying the tank to a sink, which also makes them easier to wipe out.
Its stated run time of 60 hours is above the middle of the range we cover: 54 of the 69 humidifiers with a stated figure come in lower, and the range runs from 10 hours to 130 hours.
Price-wise it sat in the dearest third of the 74 ultrasonic models we cover when we checked; the button shows today's price.
Compared with the Levoit Dual 200S Smart Top-Fill Ultrasonic Humidifier: run time up to 60 hours here vs up to 25 hours.
Warranty, per the maker: 2 years.
