Why it matters
The Nordic Pure 5-Inch MERV 12 Filter for Honeywell and Lennox is a pleated furnace and air conditioner filter rated MERV 12 (MPR 1500 on the 3M scale).
MERV 12 catches a larger share of fine particles than MERV 11, which suits allergy households whose system handles a denser filter.
A 5-inch filter (about 4 3/8 inches actual) is the depth used by Honeywell and Lennox media cabinets; measure the cabinet before ordering, since 4- and 5-inch cabinets are not interchangeable.
The listing sells it as 2 filters per pack; the material is electrostatically charged synthetic pleated media.
As general guidance, check a 1-inch filter monthly and change it every one to three months; deeper 4- and 5-inch filters usually last six to twelve months.
This listing is the 20x25x5 size; order by the size printed on your old filter's frame.
The Nordic Pure listing names 2 filters per box.
